Amount of Fellowship: Maximum - $14000
Application Deadline: 31-March
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or national of the U.S. and by the date fellowship begins, will have completed academic requirements for the doctorate, except for dissertation, at a U.S. college or university and whose dissertation proposal has been approved by the school. J.D. candidates may apply if the proposed research project will represent a substantial amount of credit toward third-year requirements and will result in a paper that would be appropriate for publication. Candidate must submit dissertation or J.D. research proposal describing the topic, the ressearch design, research methodology, and relevance to arms control, nonproliferation, and disarmament issues and policies, a bibliography, official graduate school transcripts, a signed statement of approval of the proposal from applicant's research/dissertation advisor, and evaluations from three academic references.
