Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship is an award sponsored by Texas Association, Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA).

Scholarship information:

Award Amount: Maximum - $10000
Application Deadline: 1-March
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and/or be born in the U.S., be a resident of Texas, be a graduating high school senior who will graduate at the end of the spring semester immediately following award, and have passed the TAAS Mastery/Exit Level exam. Candidate must have a minimum combined SAT I score of 900 (minimum composite ACT score of 20), rank in top quarter of high school class, be a member in good standing of Texas Association, FCCLA, plan to enroll in a Texas college or university, and participate in a curriculum leading to a bachelor's degree. Candidate must indicate major and career planned and submit a typed narrative including importance of college education to applicant and specific career goals, a photograph, and three letters of personal reference.
