(Graduate Level) George H. Nofer Scholarship for Law and Public Policy

The (Graduate Level) George H. Nofer Scholarship for Law and Public Policy is a scholarship sponsored by Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Scholarship information:

Award Amount: Maximum - $5000, One scholarship of $5,000 is available for the 2006-07 academic year.
Application Deadline: 15-April
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be accepted to an accredited law school or masters/doctoral program in public policy or public administration as a full-time student. Candidate must be diagnosed with a moderate to profound hearing loss prior to acquiring spoken language (hearing loss averages 60dB or greater in the better ear in the speech frequencies of 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz.)Candidate must use spoken communication as the primary mode of communication. Candidate must have an undergraduate cumulative grade point average of 3.0. Complete and submit a College and University Scholarship Award Application available online at the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing website at www.agbell.org. Applications are found on the Financial Aid and Scholarships section under Awards/College Scholarships. Applications may also be requested by writing to the contact listed below.
