The Glenn Foundation AFAR Scholarship for Research in the Biology of Aging is a scholarship sponsored by American Federation For Aging Research (AFAR).
Scholarship information:
Award Amount: Maximum - $6000
Application Deadline: 26-February
Scholarship Requirements: Awarded to give students the opportunity to conduct a three month research project in an area of biomedical research in aging under the auspices of a mentor. Candidate must submit transcripts, GRE or MCAT scores, biographical sketch, research description, and letters of reference. Selection is based upon merit and feasibility of proposed research, qualifications of mentor, and applicant's ability, promise, and interest in gerontological issues (as demonstrated by academic performance, statement of purpose, references, course work, independent study, and volunteer activity).
