George Robert Earle Grant-In-Aid
The George Robert Earle Grant-In-Aid is a grant sponsored by United Daughters of the Confederacy.

Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be a lineal descendant of worthy Confederates or collateral descendant who is a member of the Children of the Confederacy or the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Candidate must have at least a 3.0 grade point average, be enrolled in an accredited college or university, and carry a minimum of 12 hours each semester. Candidate must be prepared to pass entrance examination of prospective college or university. Candidate must submit proof of Confederate Military Record, line of descent from Confederate ancestor, a letter of endorsement from sponsoring Chapter, a letter of recommendation, complete financial report, official transcripts, an essay on the significance of a southern heritage, and a wallet-size photo. Original and four copies of the application forms and five copies of all documents, certificates, and letters must be submitted to the Division Director of Education. All inquiries must include a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Recipient chosen by Davidson Coll.
