Gates Millennium Scholars Award

The Gates Millennium Scholars Award is a scholarship sponsored by United Negro College Fund (UNCF).

Scholarship information:

Award Amount: Comprehensive Tuition, plus books
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific-American, or Hispanic, have a minimum 3.3. grade point average, and have applied to, been accepted at, or enrolled full time at an accredited college or university. Candidate must demonstrate significant financial need as defined by federal needs analysis formula and demonstrate leadership ability through participation in community service, extracurricular activities, or other activities. Candidate must be nominated by a teacher, principal, professor, dean, or program director.
Eligibility: College freshman, College sophomore, College junior, College senior, Doctoral-level study, Master's-level study, Other postgraduate-level education
