The Free Tuition for Children of Veterans who Die During Service is a Tuition Waiver sponsored by South Dakota Division of Veterans Affairs.

Scholarship information:

Amount of Tuition Waiver: Full Tuition
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be a South Dakota resident under age 25, attend a state school, and have a parent who died during active duty and was a South Dakota resident for at least six months prior to active service.
Eligibility: Must be college freshman, sophmore, junior or senior.
