The Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholars is a scholarship sponsored by New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority.

Scholarship information:

Award Amount: Maximum - $1000
Application Deadline: 1-October
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be (and have been for the previous 12 consecutive months) a New Jersey resident planning to attend a New Jersey college or university full time and be nominated for the award by high school based upon grade point average, class rank, and SAT I scores. Additional scholarships will be provided to applicants from the state's urban and economically distressed areas based upon class rank and grade point average.
Eligibility: Must be college freshman, sophmore, junior or senior.
