DWET Dedicated Scholarship

The DWET Dedicated Scholarship is an award sponsored by Dog Writers' Educational Trust (DWET).

Scholarship information:

Award Amount: Minimum - $1000, Maximum - $2000
Application Deadline: 31-January
Scholarship Requirements: "Applicant should rank in top third of class, must demonstrate involvement in dog-related activities, and must submit an essay on college and career goals, an essay on "Why People Own Dogs," and transcripts. Selection is based upon dog-related activities, academic performance, financial need, and character. Applicants whose parents or other close relatives have been active as dog breeders, exhibitors, judges, or club officers are considered. A $10 application fee is required. To receive application, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the above address."
Eligibility: College freshman, College sophomore, College junior, College senior, Master's-level study, Doctoral-level study
