- Executive JD Health Track Program
For legal professionals who want to acquire a top quality legal education - but do not want to practice law - can enroll in the Concord Law School Executive Juris Doctorate program. The job market places great value on the skills, abilities, and knowledge that can be acquired from a quality legal education. In depth knowledge of legal terminology, the ability to persuade, and well-developed analytical skills are highly sought after and can be employed in a wide range of career fields and positions. Law students in the Executive Juris Doctorate program offered by Concord Law School are not subject to the statutorily mandated 4-year part-time study requirements of California law for the JD program. Students in this program will participate in several of the same intense Concord Law School courses offered in the Juris Doctor program except that the Executive Juris Doctorate courses offer much more flexibility. The JD Health Track requires students take a minimum of 16 units of health law related courses. A required introductory Health Law course is a prerequisite for students who want to take electives including Bioethics, Health Policy, Administrative Law for the Health Care Professional, and Telemedicine and E-Health.
- Small Business Practice LLM
The Small Business Practice LLM is uniquely designed for recent law school graduates as well as practicing attorneys who desiring to obtain an in-depth, yet real-world knowledge of the legal issues relating to small business, an increasingly prominent and important segment of the U.S. and International economy. Unlike the courses provided at typical law schools, the curriculum in the Small Business Practice LLM programs offered at Concord Law School is structured and designed to address the needs of small business on many topics including regulation and finance, taxation and succession planning, protecting and selling intellectual property, leasing commercial real estate, and employment law issues.
