Communication Contest for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

The Communication Contest for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing is a scholarship sponsored by Optimist International.

Scholarship information:

Award Amount: Maximum - $1500
Application Deadline: varies
Scholarship Requirements: Within twelve years of winning award, applicant must be currently enrolled in a college, university or trade school to redeem the funds. Contest is open to young people through grade 12 in the U.S. and Canada, to CEGEP in Quebec and grade 13 in the Caribbean, who are recognized by their school as deaf or hear of hearing. Applicants attending either public school or schools providing special services are eligible to enter if criteria are met.
