Commander William S. Stuhr Scholarship

The Commander William S. Stuhr Scholarship is an award sponsored by Commander William S. Stuhr Scholarship Fund for Military Sons and Daughters.

Scholarship information:

Award Amount: Average - $1125
Application Deadline: end of February
Scholarship Requirements: "Candidate must be a high school senior in at least the top ten percent of graduating class. Candidate must have extracurricular activities, evidence of leadership potential, and plan to attend an accredited, four-year institution. Candidate must be a bona fide family member of an active duty or retired officer or enlistedman. Candidate must submit photograph (from the sholders up, approximately 2" x 4"), copy of report cards, achievement tests, photocopy of United States Uniformed Services I.D. Card, autobiography or essay, letters of recommendation, and copies of any college/university acceptance letters (if received)."
