The Bill and Mary Russell Scholarship is an award sponsored by Heartland Foundation.

Scholarship information:

Award Amount: Average - $500
Application Deadline: 1-July
Scholarship Requirements: Award is determined by career goals, work and volunteer experience, academic achievements and honors, letters of recommendation, grades, class rank, grade point average, and need for financial assistance. Candidates must be studying full-time at a school offering an approved nursing or other medical-related program and reside in any of these counties: Decatur, Page Fremont, Taylor or Ringgold, Iowa; Atchison, Doniphan, Brown, or Nemaha, Kansas; Andrew, Buchanan, Atchison, Caldwell, Davies, Clinton, Gentry Grundy, DeKalb, Harrison, Livingston, Holt, Mercer, Worth, or Nodaway, Mississippi; Richardson or Nemaha, Nebraska.
Eligibility: College freshman, College sophomore, College junior, College senior, Master's-level study, Doctoral-level study
