Benton R. Leach '52 Scholarship

The Benton R. Leach '52 Scholarship is an award sponsored by Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech).

Scholarship information:

Award Amount: Minimum - $550, Maximum - $2000
Application Deadline: 1-March
Scholarship Requirements: Candidates must be American citizens or eligible noncitizens, reside in Fauquier, Warren, or Rappahannock County, VA, and be studying full-time, (12 or more credit hours each semester). Beginning freshman and transfer applicants must have scored at least 1100 on the SAT. Students reapplying for the award should possess at least a 3.0 Quality Credit Average (QCA). Candidates must complete a FAFSA. Consideration is typically given to those requiring financial assistance, while secondary consideration is provided to students with excellent grades and a history of community service.
