Artist Fellowship

The Artist Fellowship is a Fellowship sponsored by Japan Foundation.

Scholarship information:

Amount of Fellowship: Stipend of 370,000-430,000 yen per month, plus additional allowances for accompanying dependents, health insurance, academic fees, airfare, settling in/departure costs, and research expenses.
Application Deadline: 1-December
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must have an affiliation with a Japanese artist or institution and must submit three letters of reference, including one from the Japanese affiliate. Award gives artists and specialists in the arts the opportunity to pursue creative projects in Japan with their Japanese counterparts. Applicant should contact the Japan Foundation New York Office in September.
