Scholarship Requirements: Amy Lowell, an American poet, died in 1925. Her will setup an annual scholarship to fund travel abroad trips for talented American-born poets. This scholarship is administered by her will Trustees at the Boston, MA law firm of Choate, Hall & Stewart. Candidates are required to be native-born American citizens, provide numerous poetry samples satisfying application requirements, and intend to spend one year studying outside North America.
