Amount of Grant: Maximum - $6000
Application Deadline: 15-November
Scholarship Requirements: Candidates must be women and American citizens or permanent residents. Award is intended for faculty members at universities or colleges or independent researchers intending to publish. Award is determined by grades, teaching experience, commitment to women’s issues by serving in the community, and research conducted. Recipient must set aside 8 weeks to conduct research. Scholars who’ve published should seek other types of assistance or apply for the AAUW Educational Foundation's 1 year faculty leave program designed for faculty members. This award is designed for individuals planning to conduct postdoctoral research.
