ACRES Scholarship

The ACRES Scholarship is an award sponsored by American Council on Rural Special Education (ACRES).

Scholarship information:

Award Amount: Minimum - $500, Average - $800, Maximum - $1000
Application Deadline: 10-December
Scholarship Requirements: Candidates must be certified teachers working for, or been employed by, a school district located in a rural area, teaching disabled or special needs students, dedicated to improving skills for special education students, and be American citizens. Award is determined by application, letters of recommendation, and essay. The award recipient receives an honorary 1 year membership with the ACRES.
